5 Food Blogs to Satisfy your Taste Buds

One of the most important factors when getting fit and feeling “healthy” is your food intake. It can affect everything from your mood, to the success of your work out. Weather your goal is to lose weight or to eat healthy, these 5 blogs will help you succeed. As I scrolled through these blogs all I wanted to do was get back home and start cooking!

1. Andie Mitchell

This is not only a food blog, but also a depiction of a life long journey. Andie Mitchell has credited herself with losing 135 pounds 10 years ago, and has continued to maintain her weight through healthy eating and exercise. She will help you cook and also learn from her relationship with food and exercise and how she has maintained her lifestyle.

Sprouted Kitchen looks at cooking as a form of art, not science. All their recipes utilize seasonal ingredients that are both delicious and satisfying. Looking through the countless meal options, it is hard not to love all of these recipes. Plus they have amazing pictures!

3. 101 Cookbooks

Coconut Quinoa Bowl

101 Cookbooks written by Heidi Swanson, showcases recipes made with natural and healthy foods. Swanson posts both personal recipes and  those from her favorite cookbooks. One feature that is extremely helpful is the way she categorizes her recipes. You can search by different categories that will make your quest for finding the perfect meal easier. My personal favorite is how she categorizes recipes by ingredients, making it easy to eat avocado every day.

4. Oh She Glows

This book would be a great addition to any kitchen whether you want to start eating more healthy, or don’t know what to cook when your vegan friends come over.
