Hi Friends! My name is Caroline; I’m 22 years old, and studying marketing at GW’s School of Business. I hail from Wilmington, Delaware. When I’m not in class, I’m interning for a nonprofit here in DC. Between school and work, I don’t have a lot of time for wellness or mindfulness. As the end of school quickly approaches, I hope to slow down a little, and appreciate the things around me, and work on living a healthier life- both mentally and physically. Keep an eye out for more coming soon!
Hi everyone! My name is Jen and I’m a senior at GW studying marketing! I am originally from right outside Philadelphia in Haddonfield, New Jersey. Yes, I spend my summers at the Jersey shore, but not the shore you are thinking of with Snooki and JWoww. When I’m not in class or interning you can find me running around DC as I train for a half marathon (or attempt to in these snowy conditions), being a yoga enthusiast, watching Saturday Night Live or binge watching my latest TV comedy obsession (currently Veep). Stay tuned as I attempt to conquer my fears of graduating college and becoming a real person!
Hi, I’m Alicia! Originally from southwestern Connecticut, I now call Washington, DC home. I’m all about mindfulness and exploring the outdoors, oh, and I’m also a closet SoulCycle enthusiast. Stay tuned for updates chronicling my attempts at conquering the latest wellness trends and how I’m staying zen as I navigate life as a second semester senior.
Hey everyone! I’m Kelly, a 21-year-old New Jersey native, currently living in Washington, DC. When not in class at GW, you can catch me exploring DC’s live music scene or over packing my suitcase for my next adventure. It’s a crazy busy time trying to figure out what to do with my life post-grad on top of the usual school and work routine. As a result, my goal for second semester senior year is to get through it all with a peaceful mind. Check back soon for posts on how I keep the stress low and good vibes going! #KeepCalmAndNessOn
I’m Najla. I am from Caracas, Venezuela and a senior dreading the thought of graduation. Setting aside my desperation to find a job, I have decided to focus on a much sooner deadline: Spring Break. In high school I used to be a varsity athlete in 3 different sports and was the captain of my soccer team, you could say that those were my #GloryDays. Therefore instead of working out occasionally I have to decided to make it a regular habit again. I will keep you posted on class recommendations and meals! #HaveaNESSday
